As part of the project ‘Powder production of an AMC high-performance lightweight construction material and professional further processing using a laser powder bed fusion process (acronym: AMC powder AM-ready), various atomisation processes are being investigated in order to produce highly particle-reinforced AMC powder. Each process presents specific challenges. However, all of the processes being investigated also have the potential to produce high-quality AMC powder that will be successful on the market by adapting the process control. This project also gives us the opportunity to strengthen our team.

Here’s to a successful collaboration with our project partners Fraunhofer Institute IWU Dresden, the Chair of Materials and Surface Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology, NRU GmbH Neukirchen and the BENSELER Group from Frankenberg! We can achieve a lot together by the end of 2026.
